Schaumburg-Lippe, Principality. A 1914 Faithful Service Cross GTRexclude Gassed during a heavy enemy(Steckkreuz fr Treue Dienst 1914). Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribboned, consisting of a Geneva Cross, the obverse with a central monogram of Prince Adolf, the arms with an inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE 1914 (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE 1914), the reverse plain, unmarked, measuring 35. 74 mm (w) x 40. 34 mm (h), in better than very fine condition.
