The palate has striking acidity that floods in early with plenty of citrus-dominant flavours and then chisels in tight

Whilst this wine will gain character and complexity with cellaring it is very drinkable now

the wine is juxtaposed with a restrained power typical of Hyde Vineyard Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon

Cristom Louise Pinot Noir 2015 kings-ridge 13% MerlotDark fruit and a dusty, earthy nose with oak vanilla as the high note. Palate has mouth coating tannins with persistence and balance. Concentrated black currant, black cherry, and licorice along with bright vibrant red fruit, and cinnamon from stem inclusion.
