Germany, Third Reich. An SA Sports Badge for War Wounded, Silver Grade, by Werner Redo consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac A First War Iron Cross(SA Sportabzeichen fr Kriegsverwundete). Instituted on February 15th, 1935. Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, surrounded by a mobile swastika, overlaid by a sword, with a Wolfsangel on the bottom, the reverse plain, with a re attached hinge and pinback assembly, with a flat wire catch, marked RZM M1 100 for manufacture by Werner Redo of Saarlautern, measuring 46. 8 mm (w) x 59. 7 mm (l), weighing 23.
