Rare Rumuriti (R3) Meteorite 1829 Published under the titleNewly discovered near the Tunezrouft plateau in the vast Sahara Desert of Algeria, this rare Rumuruti Chondrite (R3) contains Breccia set in fine grain matrix with distinct chondrules visible throughout the meteorite and was formed in a completely different atmosphere than those of ordinary chondrite meteorites, because of this they rarely have free iron in them the way ordinary chondrite meteorites do.
