Germany, Kriegsmarine. An Officer’s Summer Tunic Breast Eagle Archive Iron Cross First Class 1939(Kriegsmarine Brustadler fr Offizier). Constructed of gilded aluminum, the obverse consisting of a finely detailed Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with an integral barrel hinge and tapering horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, with a stabilizer emanating from the wreathed, marked M indicating Kriegsmarine issue, measuring 94 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
