This one is in a style known as Oribe chawan. These chawan are made with a bright white clay and usually feature a signature bright green glaze applied in two spots with brown loose usually strait brush work between them. Suitable more for the winter season, its thick, high walls are used to keep the tea warm longer. This chawan measures 5 1 2" wide at its
