Harcourt is a cooler pocket located in the Bendigo GI, and this vineyard sits up high above the Harcourt Valley on a granitic outcrop. The vineyard is approx 500m ASL and is the highest (and probably coolest) vineyard in the Bendigo GI. The vineyard soils are composed of granitic slabs and boulders, interspersed with sand.
