Tallis & Co in 1854, this is one of the finest and most detailed historic maps of the Black Sea region with Europe on the left and Asia on the right. Notably, this map makes reference to the Crimean War, which was ongoing at the time. There's a red line between Bulgarian and Sevastopol marking an "electric telegraph to the allied camps" which would've allowed for very rapid communications for allied forces
